Private Classes
GreenGourmetToGo is happy to offer private classes for groups and couples. These intimate, private classes are a great way to celebrate birthdays, bridal showers, team building events, or just getting friends together! Classes can be tailored to cover areas of particular interest or choose from class calendar. Private classes make a great wedding or shower gift. Rates vary based on number of participants and class design.
Breakfast of Champions! Billed as the most important meal of the day, breakfast often gets short shrift due to lack of time, planning and inspiration. Introduction to Whole Foods Cooking Can you tell your amaranth from your kasha? Not sure how to make beans without a can opener? Think healthy cooking can't be done without alienating your family? Healthy cooking is more than following recipes, it's about understanding whole food ingredients and how to bring them together to make delicious and nourishing food. Come and learn the basics of cooking and combining grains, beans and delicious vegetables to create well-balanced dishes. This is a demonstration class with sampling.
Vegan Soups and Salads Soups and salads seem to go together - maybe because they are filling without a lot of calories and it’s a great way to add nutritious veggies, grains and beans to your diet. Join us for an evening of good food and learning. All the soups and salads are gluten-free and vegan. We’ll create 2 soups, 2 salads and salad dressings. There will be plenty to taste and take home. Plant-Based Protein Whether you’ve already adopted a vegetarian or vegan diet or are just thinking about it, you’ve probably asked yourself where you’ll get your protein. In this class, we’ll explore conventional baking ingredients and healthier replacements so that you can get your sweet tooth-fix but in a health-supportive way. After reviewing approaches to converting recipes, we’ll step into the kitchen to see and taste several delicious treats. You’ll leave with the know-how and the recipes to recreate in your own kitchen and you’ll take home samples to remind you how delicious healthy baking can be.
